Online mixing and mastering Europe

The studio offers online professional online mastering and mixing for clients across Europe and worldwide. We are a recording studio specialized in mixing and mastering. As we moved in Spain from Canada two years ago, we're happy to offer affordable online mixing and mastering for European artists.

The most important thing to know is that there is no major difference between online mixing and mastering, or if you are here in the
studio. No matter what we're mixing or master, we do the same analog digital hybrid mixing and analog mastering; we do not have a double standard, we have a single standard, which is to offer the client the best possible mix or master for his particular song.

The client does not approve the mix or the master just by listening to it in our studio. The reality is that most of the clients are asking for revisions after they hear the song in different systems at home, systems they are familiar with, not when they pick up the mix or master at the studio. They usually don’t know how the sound translates to outside world, as they are not used to the studio acoustic environment.

So, basically, you - the client- must provide the tracks (for mixing) or the stereo file (for mastering), and then receive the final product. Once the client receives it, he listens, and if he feels that there is a need for some modifications, we do them. For both - mixing and mastering - the price includes three revisions if required.

Examples of online mixing and mastering

The first example is from the album "An Englishman in Salajan" of the group Partizan, album released on May 2025 by the Electrecord - a Bucharest record-label. They sent me the tracks of all the songs, and for each song a demo they did for guidance. The following is a snippet- first one from their demo, and the second from the final mixed and mastered version:
The second example is from Victoria and Marc from Barcelona. They brought a few songs they made themselves, they wanted production - using some of our analog synths, guitars and amps, then recording. They came here and spent some days here for production and recording, as Fandango Recording is a retreat recording studio. Then, for mixing and mastering we communicated quite fine and easy over internet and by phone, until I achieved what they wanted. First audio snippet is from the demo they brought initially with them, the second is from the master- the song is called "500Hz".
The third example is the song "AnteApocalipsa" of the rock group Pro Musica. The bulk of the mix was done in another studio, however we did finalize the mix stems to give it that analog oomph and then the mastering. The videoclip of the song won a couple of international prizes this year, Best AI video and Best Rock video at the 2025 Short Film Festival in Hollywood, LA, and best rock video at the 2025 Venice Short Film Festival, and nominated at others film festivals. You can hear and see the video bellow.

Things to know...

Tell us as much as you can about your project, as this helps us to understand your vision.

  • The number of tracks (for mixing), what are you looking for (send us some song references in the vein of what you are looking for);
  • Check the Online preparation page for how to prepare the material;
  • Try to define the general feeling you expect the song to convey;
  • A description of what you expect to hear (details like what you feel should be the focus of the song and the principal elements, certain effects you would like to hear, your idea about how the song follows or not an ascending line, some of your expectations- like you would like to improve on the sound of the kick or snare or bass, in case you feel that some of the recorded tracks are weak).
  • Specify the key of the song and the tempo - bpm; let us know if they change during the song and where exactly. More info in FAQ about this
  • Think of how you would like the vocals and let us know; beside pitch correction (if required) and other editing functions, I would like to know what do you feel is missing or what you think is the strength of it, your preference of a more up-front vocal or rather integrated with the rest of instruments (of course, it depends also on the style of song).
  • Let us know if the song purpose is commercial, or it is to showcase a vocal, a lead instrument or, in case of songwriters, who do you have in mind to sell the song to.
  • If you plan to mix with us, and master with another mastering engineer, let us know, and we will provide aside with the main mix a vocal up and vocal down, a trax, and vocals acapella. And, eventually a clean mix (if there is objectionable language).
  • For mastering, let us know what is it for: vinyl, CD, for internet distribution and streaming. They are different. As far as radio goes, there is no need for a radio master; for radio an edited version of the master will suffice, as radio favours songs up to three minutes.

Please check all the details about online mixing and mastering preparation. There are two blogs about
online mixing and online analog mastering with a lot of more info. Please Contact us and tell us about your project, and we will send a quote, specifying both the price and timing. Please check rates page for the cost of mixing and mastering.
